Featured in the University of the Philippines' Newsletter

Academics are not just ought to do research and teaching. As active members (ideally, but this doesn't always hold true in some circles) of the community, or of the society in general, they're after genuine societal transformation. Recognizing this, I participated in a university forum on elections, as featured in the University of the Philippines' website.

"Prof. Aaron Laylo from the Department of Social Sciences (DSS) acted as the reactor of the forum. He encouraged UPLB students to take the opportunity to exercise “giving back” to the country by volunteering as election watchdogs/monitors."
